How to Power On Back Office UPS (Battery Backup)

Issue: The network is not powered on because the back office UPS is turned off

Note: If you are having trouble with a UPS that is not located in the back office, please open a Fresh Tech Ticket.

 

Precautions:

  • Do not unplug the UPS
  • Do not move the location of the UPS
  • If you do not feel comfortable or are unsure while dealing with the UPS, please open a Fresh Tech Ticket.
  • If the UPS is making a beeping noise, please open a Fresh Tech Ticket.

 

Steps

  1. Locate the UPS in the back office

  1. Validate that the UPS is not already on. If the UPS is on, the little screen on UPS will be lit up
  2. Locate the power button and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds.

  1. The small screen on the front of the UPS should light up and the UPS should be on and functional.
  2. If the UPS does not power on, please open a Fresh Tech Ticket.
