How to Fix Gift Cards Not Working

Issue: The gift cards are not processing or receiving an error that says "Unable to connect to Aloha BOH" when trying any gift card function

IMPORTANT: Be very careful to follow these instructions. If you feel uncomfortable with the following, please contact Tech Support via phone or ticket.

 

Requirements:

  • Be an MP
  • BOH Server Password

 

Steps:

  1. Log onto the Aloha BOH Server
  2. Click on the Start Menu in the lower left hand corner
  3. Type "Services"
  4. Click on the Services app
  5. Locate "Paytronix Controller" from the list of services
  6. Right click on Paytronix Controller and select from the following:
    1. Start Service (if stopped)
    2. Restart Service (if running)
  7. The service should start/restart in 5-10 seconds.
  8. Validate that the service status is Running
