Issue: Brink POS Terminal returning an error 331 - "No Rule Apply" when trying to close an order containing a gift card.
Note: This is an error within the Brink / Paytronix integration. The solution below was created as a work-around, based on suggestions from 24x7.
Requirements:
- Login ID to the Brink POS Terminal
Steps
- Wake up the POS Terminal and enter your ID.
- From the top left, select the order in question, containing the gift card payment.
- Once the order is in the order lane (where you can see the items of the order on the left), Click "Manager from the top menu bar.
- Select "Clear Paytronix Customer" button.
- Click "Pay/Close" to complete the order.
