Issue: Store states the music in the store is not playing
NOTE: Amplifier models and types will vary between stores. However, these steps will remain the same.
Potential Issues:
- Music player is not powered
- Music cable is not plugged in
- Amplifier is not powered
- Music volume is turned down/muted
Music Player is Not Powered
- Locate the music player
- Validate the LED on the front of the music player is on
- If the LED is off, check the power connection on the back of the music player. It is a small USB connection
- If the connection on the back is good, follow the cable till you reach where it plugs into an outlet
Music Cable is Not Plugged In
- Locate the music player
- Located on the front of the music player you should see a headphone cable
- Unplug the cable and plug it back in. Ensuring the cable is inserted completely
Amplifier is Not Powered
- Locate the amplifier
- Validate the LED on the front of amplifier is on
- If the LED is off, check the power connection on the back of the amplifier.
- If the connection on the back is good, follow the cable till you reach where it plugs into an outlet
Music Volume is Turned Down/Muted
- Locate the stores volume controls for the music.
NOTE: This location may vary per store. Common locations would be in the kitchen near the transition from the kitchen to the front lobby. They could also be in the manager’s office
- Validate the knobs are not turned all the way down (ex. The knobs are turned all the way to the left)
- If the knobs are turned all the way down, slowly turn them up (to the right) until you reach the desired volume level
