How to Power Drain a POS Terminal or KDS
Request: You are asked to perform a power drain on a POS or KDS.
Requirements:
No additional tools or access required.
Steps:
- Locate the power button on the POS terminal or KDS.
- Press the power button to turn it off.
- Unplug the terminal from the outlet.
- Hold down the power button for at least 15 seconds.
- Plug the power cable back into the outlet.
- Press the power button to turn it back on.
