Issue: Credit cards are not being processed by the POS payment reader.
Short-term solution: By stopping credit card processing, credit cards will be stored internally and will not be validated by the credit card processor.
Important: You need to complete these 4 steps by the end of day
- Inform Tech Team with issue by submitting a ticket or via phone call.
- Validate if issue has been resolved before turning EDC processing off.
- Turn credit card processing back on if it was turned off.
- Communicate with MP that it is turned back on.
Note: EDC should be turned back on at restaurant closing so transactions can be sent to processor. Offline credit card processing can be held for several days but priority is the same day.
