How to pause online orders through Uber Eats

Request: A manager requests to pause Uber Eats orders.

 

Requirements:

  • Uber Eats Merchant login
  • Brand
  • Restaurant Location

 

Steps:

  1. Log on to the Uber Eats Merchant portal.
  2. Click on the Stores dropdown (Left Navigation).
  3. Click on Stores.
  4. Click on Pause orders on the right hand side.
  5. Select the store you want to pause.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Enter pause details
    1. How long will you be unavailable for?
      • 10 min
      • 20 min
      • 30 min
      • 60 min
      • Rest of the day
    2. Pick a reason for pausing, or add your own
      • Closing early
      • Problem in the restaurant
      • Out of item(s)
      • Other
    3. Anything else to add?
      • Additional Comments
  8. Click Pause Orders.
