How to route a printer in Aloha POS

Issue: Order tickets are not printing because a printer is not working. 

 

Solution: Reroute printing to another printer

 

Requirements: Manager permissions assigned to the POS login

 

 

  1. Log into Aloha POS
    • If you are presented with the Tables screen, click My Tables Home Page to go to the home screen
  2. Click Functions
  3. Click System
  4. Click Reroute Printer
  5. Click the printer that is not working
  6. Click Change Routing
  7. Click the printer you want to tickets to print to
  8. Click OK
  9. Submit a test order to confirm ticket are printing to the rerouted printer.

 

When the non-working printer has been fixed, follow the steps above to restore printing to the correct printer.
